No Change Atop of the Week 2 polls

Divine Savior Holy Angels, Xavier, Howards Grove, and Athens all retained their status as the No. 1 teams in respective divisions in the WVCA Week 2 Coaches Poll.

DSHA headlined a Division 1 top five that featured little changes in Week 2, with Oconomowoc, Hamilton, Burlington, and Appleton North assuming those positions.

Xavier extended its first place votes in Division 2, while Fox Valley Lutheran flipped with Pewaukee at No. 2 and 3. Luxemburg-Casco jumped into the No. 4 spot, while Kettle Moraine Lutheran clings to No. 5 in the early season poll.

Similarly, Howards Grove was a near-unanimous No. 1 in Division 3, ahead of a No. 2 Lake Country Lutheran who, like the Tigers, has loaded up its tournament slate. Randolph remained at No. 3, while Saint Croix Falls moved up one spot to No. 4. Brodhead leaped into the top five for the first time this season at No. 5.

Despite a brief hiccup in the Division 4 poll, there was very little movement among top five teams. Athens remained at No. 1 with a very strong early-season resume. Monticello, Prentice, Columbus Catholic, and Mercer also remained in their positions from the opening week.
