Top Teams Hold in Relatively Quiet Week

Divine Savior Holy Angels remained the top team in Division 1, but No. 2 Oconomowoc picked up ground in the coaches votes in what appears to be an early two-team race. The remaining top five of Hamilton, Burlington, and Appleton North seem to have also separated from the pack, appearing on all ballots in Week 3.

Northeastern Wisconsin is well-represented in Division 2 again this week with Xavier, Fox Valley Lutheran, and Luxemburg-Casco assuming the top three positions in Week 3. Unbeaten Sauk Prairie climbed into the top five at No. 4, while Pewaukee slipped to No. 5.

The chase behind top-ranked Howards Grove in Division 3 tightened as 10 different teams received a top-five vote in Week 3. Randolph overtook Lake Country Lutheran for No. 2 this week, ahead of No. 4 Saint Croix Falls and No. 5 Westby--making its first appearance in the coaches poll.

Division 4 saw the majority of its top teams winning a lot of matches this week, with Athens, Monticello, Prentice, and Columbus Catholic remaining in place. Hillsboro was one of the highest risers of the week across all divisions, soaring five spots to No. 5.
