Dons Take Over No. 1 in Division 4

The Dons of Columbus Catholic join Divine Savior Holy Angels, Xavier, and St. Croix Falls as No. 1 spots in the WVCA Week 3 Coaches Poll.

DSHA, Oconomowoc, and Appleton North not only retain their positions atop the Division 1 poll, all three were ranked in the most recent AVCA Region 6 Coaches' Poll at No. 1, No. 7, and No. 9 respectively. Oak Creek was this week's top riser, leaping to No. 4 ahead of No. 5 Manitowoc Lincoln.

Xavier's 6-0 mark on the week was more than enough to hang onto No. 1 in Division 2, but a small shakeup behind the Hawks was the story in Week 3. Fox Valley Lutheran improved to No. 2 with No. 3 Luxemburg-Casco right behind it as both leapt No. 4 Pewaukee. Bloomer also clung to No. 5 for the second straight week.

St. Croix Falls continued its reign atop Division 3 with a near-unanimous No. 1 ranking in Week 3. Jostling for the No. 2 spot right behind the Saints were Howards Grove and McDonell, followed by an unbeaten Laconia and perennial power Lake Country Lutheran.

The only displacement at No. 1 across all divisions happened in a topsy-turvy Division 4 which saw Columbus Catholic snag the top spot in Week 3. Royall and Athens followed the Dons into the top three, with previous No. 1 Prentice and Wabeno/Laona rounding out the top five.
