Few changes highlight Week 4 poll

The WVCA Week 4 Coaches Poll saw a marked increase of participation from its membership, yet only solidified the top spots among each division.

Divine Savior eked out a thrilling victory over Oconomowoc in the championship at the marquee two-day Charger Challenge, which welcomed 32 schools from across the state. The Dashers and Raccoons finished unanimous No. 1 and No. 2 for the fourth straight week. Appleton North, Oak Creek, and Manitowoc Lincoln also again rounded out the top five.

Division 2 was also chalk across the board with top-ranked Xavier maintaining its unanimous No. 1 spot. Fox Valley Lutheran, Luxemburg-Casco, Pewaukee, and Bloomer safely held their respective positions in the top five for the second straight week.

Division 3 was the third unanimous No. 1 vote with St. Croix Falls securing its third week at the top. Howards Grove and McDonell once again fell in line behind the Saints, followed by still-unbeaten Laconia and battle-tested Lake Country Lutheran.

Division 4 was one vote away from a unanimous No. 1, but Columbus Catholic remained the class of the division in Week 4. Royall remained at No. 2, followed by Athens for the second straight week. Newman Catholic's strong play late has soared the Cardinals to No. 4, ahead of Prentice--the third Marawood Conference representative in the Week 4 Division 4 Poll.
