Arrowhead, CMH, Stratford, Clayton top Week 3 poll

Arrowhead has been arguably the most consistent team in greater Milwaukee early this season, and overthrows Neenah to take over the top spot in the Week 3 Coaches Poll. Divine Savior Holy Angels, who actually knocked off the Warhawks in the title match of the marathon Brookfield Central Invite, leap into the No. 2 spot, ahead of unbeaten River Falls. The aforementioned Rockets fell to No. 4, while mainstay Burlington files in at No. 5.

Catholic Memorial picked up a quintet of victories this week and resumed its perch atop Division 2. East Troy, who was idle for two weeks, dropped a match to D1 Neenah at the BC Invite and held on at No. 2. Undefeated Little Chute rose to No. 3, while Kettle Moraine Lutheran and Wisconsin Lutheran rounded out the top five for the second straight week.

Stratford’s 24-0 mark is the best in the state, as the Tigers take top honors in Division 3 for the third straight week. Aquinas remains right behind at No. 2, while Lake Country Lutheran and Waterloo traded places at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. Fall Creek surged into the top five last week and held steady at No. 5 again this time around.

Top-ranked Clayton picked up a pair of victories over Central Lakeland rivals last week en route to top billing in Division 4. Newman Catholic filed in at No. 2 for the second straight week, while River Ridge and Randolph each raised one spot in Week 3. Catholic Central earned its first positioning inside the top five, leveling off at No. 5 this week.
