As the sport of volleyball continues to flourish in the state of Wisconsin, a whopping 216 girls volleyball student-athletes were honored with All-State recognition, the Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association announced this week.
Divisions 1 and 2 named a pair of 10-member First and Second Teams, Divisions 3 and 4 named a sole 10-member First Team, and all four divisions added a list of incredible Honorable Mention athletes.
For the sixth straight season, the All-State awards were compiled by eight Sectional Representatives per division. Certainly not an easy task, the 32 coaches participating in this year's All-State voting panels assessed and analyzed hundreds of nominees from active 2023-24 member-coaches.
Special thanks to Division Chairs Megan Awe (Westosha Central), Justin Jacobs (Mosinee), and Molly Meyers (Crivitz) for hosting the events, and for all others who partook in the process.
Congratulations to this year's All-State honorees!
